What is a AIW?
These are statements about a significant action, event or development in the world that needs immediate engagement action from UU member congregations and groups. How are AIWs submitted to General Assembly? An AIW must:

The final AIWs to be considered will have their final versions posted no later than June 15. Proposed AIWs for 2022 GA Seven AIWs have been proposed for consideration as of 6-3-22 and summaries are available here: www.uua.org/action/process/planning-aiw-ga Note that this information is just a summary of the AIW language and purpose. At GA itself, the Commission on Social Witness (CSW) will select up to three AIWs for consideration by the GA. AIWs which are submitted for consideration will be voted on separately. AIWs require a 2/3 majority vote to be affirmed. Because of our connection with some of the proposers of the AIWs, we have the proposed language of a few of the AIWs for your review. Note that these can be changed before they are finally voted on at GA. And these are not recommendations by OR UU Voices for Justice.
